A  hallmark of Assemblies of God World Missions is a holistic approach to ministry—caring for spiritual, physical, emotional, and social needs. Compassion, a word which connotes action, has its basis in the Word of God; Jesus was so moved when seeing people in need that He reached out, touched, healed, and sent others to continue this work.

CompassionLink, developed to serve a hurting world, is a Christ-centered, development-based approach to helping people help themselves. Our ministry philosophy is that every person has value, dignity, and potential, no matter his or her life situation. Our workers are committed to “walking with” rather than “doing for” a needy person or community. During that journey together, our team members take every opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Our team enters into relationships with needy persons, communities, and national churches by invitation of missionaries in all regions of the world. Depending upon an assessment that determines assets, needs, and the best means of serving the targeted area, we offer training in community health evangelism, health education, medical seminars, medical/dental/optical services, disaster relief training, post-crisis pastoral care, training in community development and appropriate technology, and training and services for ministry to those with disabilities.

We are committed to the best possible assistance, with a shared passion to see lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.

CompassionLink was founded 2015, combining HealthCare Ministries, Sustain Hope, and AG CHE into 1 ministry. Later, Pastoral Care International and HisAbility International were founded in order to better serve missionaries and communities all over the world.

One of the four pillars of Assemblies of God World Missions is ‘serving.’

By reaching out to those in need, God’s love is expressed in tangible ways. The gospel is shared, and souls are shown their need for placing their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our purpose is to holisitically serve our missionaries and nationals around the world in community development, community and individual health issues, ministry to disabilities and pastoral care.  We respond to field needs by request and adapt our response to best meet the need.
